Project Engineer BMS

General Objective

The position will be placed within the Team Operations Marine, in the Business Unit Italy Marine, which is responsible for offering and implementing technological solutions for cruise and military ships.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of BMS system projects in the naval sector
• Technical interface with Marine sector clients
• Development of application programs for BMS systems in the naval sector
• Preparation of final as-built documentation for contracts
• Electrical design
• Mechanical and/or electrical technical design
• Preparation and execution of FAT where applicable
• Participation in start-up, commissioning, and testing of installed systems

The Profile We Are Looking For

• A degree in Automation/Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Electrotechnical Engineering is considered a plus
• A great spirit of initiative, flexibility, energy, and passion is essential
• Teamwork orientation
• Use of CAD and other design software
• Minimum experience with PLC programming or similar
• Experience in working following standardized and documented processes
• Technical commissioning experience, both on the hardware and software side
• Knowledge of electrical design and CEI_IEC electrical standards
• Knowledge of naval standards Rina / Lloyd's / BV / RINAMIL is a plus
• Good knowledge of English

Additionally, we want to emphasize that

• During the commissioning phase, a stay in the shipyard is expected, the construction sites are generally in Italian shipyards.
• Short-term trips abroad (1 or 2 weeks) are also possible for activities including navigation.
