About the role
As a Product Technical Support Engineer, you will be a key player in our product technical support department in Holme, where you will work closely with the factory, development department, and Order Engineering to ensure effective solutions for warranty issues and technical product support.
The department specializes in handling technical product support and warranty issues for our customers. You will operate in a global organization where Johnson Controls is a market leader in the design, production, sales, and service of industrial refrigeration systems and heat pumps for industrial purposes, as well as marine and offshore applications.

Your job duties
As a Product Technical Support Engineer, you will:
- Ensure technical solutions that create customer satisfaction by effectively managing warranty issues and technical support.
- Provide remote support to our field operations and collaborate closely with technicians and other key stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with departments such as quality, development, and the factory to ensure optimal solutions.
- Contribute learning from warranty issues and technical challenges to continuous product improvement, so JCI always delivers the best products on the market.
- Participate in onsite support, if applicable.
Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Experience in industrial refrigeration and heat pumps.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Experience in project management and/or coordination.
- Strong communication skills – both verbally and in writing, especially in English.
- Good IT understanding, including MS Office, Power BI, and Teams.
You must also:
- Be trained as a machine mechanic, refrigeration technician, or have another relevant technical background.
- Be process-oriented and have a strong drive to prioritize and complete your tasks.
- Be able to handle many different tasks simultaneously.
- Be structured and a natural team player who can take responsibility as a coordinator/leader.
- Be skilled at creating and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be service-minded and supportive.
