We're recruiting a Senior Risk Manager to join our Financial Services team on a 12 month contract. The Senior Risk Manager for Strategic Programmes will be a critical 2nd Line of Defence professional, responsible for providing independent risk challenge, oversight and guidance to core project activities within our main strategic programme; ensuring that project risks are identified, assessed and managed effectively within the project lifecycle; collaborating with risk owners to ensure risks are appropriately managed and well controlled. This will include providing oversight and challenging the performance of managed risk through risk reviews and control forums. You will monitor mitigation plans through to successful delivery. You will work collaboratively with the established strategic programme team and key stakeholders to embed robust risk management standards, challenge risk mitigation strategies and champion a risk aware culture across our Financial Services programmes to ensure adherence to all elements of the Partnership Risk Management & Resilience Framework and Senior Leader’s expectation. This role requires a proactive individual with strong critical thinking and communication skills, capable of influencing programme delivery to achieve successful and resilient outcomes for the Partnership.
