Marketing Executive

A new, high-end fitness and wellness destination in Notting Hill is seeking a creative and organised Marketing Executive to support and drive marketing initiatives for a dynamic and growing fitness brand with multiple sites.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual, who is looking to develop their marketing experience and who thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate about building meaningful customer relationships, delivering engaging content, and driving brand visibility.

Salary: £30,000

Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum)

The Role:

As Marketing and Design Executive, you'll play a critical role in driving membership growth and increasing brand visibility by optimising organic and paid marketing campaigns. The Marketing Executive will report directly to the leadership team, working across various marketing channels and initiatives to enhance brand presence and support business goals. This is a hands-on role where no two days will be the same, with responsibilities spanning from digital marketing to event coordination. You will work closely with the rest of our team to create data-driven campaigns that deliver on key performance indicators such as lead generation, membership sign-ups, and event attendance.

Marketing Support:

  • Support the development of email campaigns, newsletters, and other customer communication efforts.
  • Maintain a calendar of marketing activities, ensuring all campaigns and events are well-organised and timely.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the table.

Creative Thinking:

  • Work collaboratively on ideating innovative campaign ideas that capture attention and align with the brand's premium positioning in fitness and wellness. Contribute bold ideas in brainstorming sessions, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking across the marketing team.
  • Assist the Social Media Exec to bring originality to content creation, from social media posts to event activations, ensuring all outputs feel fresh, engaging, and on-brand.
  • Translate customer insights and market trends into creative marketing briefs and ideas that resonate with target audiences.
  • Experiment with new formats, channels, and approaches to stand out in a competitive boutique fitness landscape and contribute to the brand's growth.

Brand Partnerships:

  • Identify and research potential brand partners, leveraging synergies to enhance event experiences and marketing campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners, negotiating collaborations and securing sponsorships for activations and events.
  • Collaborate on co-branded campaigns to expand audience reach and drive mutual value.

Competitor Analysis:

  • Monitor trends, campaigns, and initiatives within the boutique fitness and wellness industry to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Provide regular reports with actionable insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign adjustments.

Customer Research:

  • Create and distribute surveys and feedback forms to gather customer insights and satisfaction levels.
  • Analyse and present findings to inform decisions on campaigns, events, and service offerings.

Event & Activation Logistics:

  • Assist in coordinating logistics for marketing activations, including sourcing materials, organising printing, and ensuring timely delivery of assets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute events that resonate with the brand's target audience.
  • Manage event promotions, ensuring clear communication with customers and stakeholders.

Data Analysis & Insights:

  • Support on executing, and optimising performance marketing campaigns across multiple digital platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels.
  • Help monitor campaign performance, using tools like Google Analytics and CRM data to adjust strategies and maximise ROI.

Membership Growth and Retention:

  • Assist in developing targeted campaigns to drive new membership sign-ups, while nurturing existing members through retention strategies.
  • Track and report membership growth at the Studio, Club and brand levels, highlighting areas of opportunity.

The Person:

We're looking for a proactive and imaginative marketer with a passion for digital advertising, who can combine data-driven insights with creative thinking to deliver impactful campaigns.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Some experience in marketing, digital advertising, or a related role (fitness, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus).
  • A degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or another creative discipline.
  • Preferably some experience in a marketing role, with a focus on social media and partnership or event planning.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Tiktok) and familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g. Planoly).
  • Basic graphic design skills, with experience using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop/ Illustrator).
  • Proficiency in content creation will familiarity in using Capcut and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand content.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and measure KPIs, including ROI, CPA, and conversion rates.
  • Familiarity with ad platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Genuine passion for fitness and wellness – it's part of your life.
  • Strong creative thinker, able to generate fresh ideas and innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
  • Awareness of fitness industry trends, local community demographics, and a proactive approach to researching emerging social trends.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing and Paid Media landscape is a plus.
