Job Description

Supportive Housing Manager. This is a contract opportunity. This is an onsite opportunity located in Santa Cruz, CA.

We are seeking a mission-driven leader to oversee supportive housing services across a diverse portfolio in Northern California. Based in Santa Cruz with regular travel to Aptos and Salinas, this role ensures program quality, compliance, and resident support. You'll coach a team, manage partnerships, and drive initiatives that support high-acuity populations in stable housing environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee supportive housing operations, ensuring program and regulatory compliance
• Supervise and support case management staff across multiple properties
• Lead program planning, staff development, and special projects for high-needs residents
• Manage partnerships with referral agencies and onsite service providers
• Use data to drive decisions, monitor performance, and support strategy development

Job Skills/Requirements:

• 5+ years in social services/community-based settings, including 3+ years of case management with high-acuity populations
• 2+ years of experience supervising case managers or service staff
• Strong background in supportive housing and trauma-informed practices
• Proficient in Salesforce or HMIS; skilled in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to manage partnerships, navigate crises, and lead with empathy
