Industrial Service Technician

A multinational engineering Food technology company is looking for Service Technician to join their Technical Department. This role requires a technically proficient professional with experience in both mechanical and electrical systems. As a Service Technician, he will play a key role in installing, commissioning, and maintaining high-performance machinery at their customers' production sites around the world.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (24V and 380V) on industrial packaging machinery
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and DWG layouts for accurate equipment installation
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
• Identify and resolve mechanical and electronic faults in complex industrial systems
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and other technical staff to address on-site issues
• Maintain detailed documentation of interventions, modifications, and maintenance activities
• Produce clear and comprehensive technical reports after each service visit
• Share technical insights and solutions with the team to improve overall performance
• Train customer personnel on machine operation and maintenance
• Provide technical support and build strong relationships with clients across West Africa
• Participate in internal training programs to continuously develop technical skills
• Contribute positively to team dynamics and support a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

• Degree (BS or TS) in Industrial Data, Industrial Electronics, Electromechanics, or Automation
• Proven experience troubleshooting electrical systems in packaging/assembly line machinery
• Strong understanding of electrical diagrams and DWG layouts
• Basic mechanical assembly knowledge
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally, particularly within West Africa
• Valid passport
• Fluent in both French and English
• Self-motivated, reliable, and aligned with company values
• Capable of working both independently and within a team setting

Schedule

• Monday to Friday | from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm
