Job Description:

Job Duties:

Lead redesign of the flagship therapeutic catheter with a focus on design for manufacturing and design for assembly. Propose and evaluate new technologies and materials to improve product quality, reduce manufacturing costs, and ensure product regulatory compliance. Serve as technical lead of the cross-functional core team with responsibilities of overseeing research and development activities, investigating customer complaints, supporting validation operations such as scaling up and optimizing processes, and analyzing in-process samples. Evaluate analytical results to establish the quality of batches. Prepare and control procedure, batch records and other compliance documents. Plan and administer purification processes, ensuring compliance with clinical good manufacturing processes. Ensure equipment is tested and repairs are scheduled. Support safety and environmental initiatives. Mentor junior engineers within the team to ensure their professional growth and development.

25% travel required (domestic and/or international).

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Staff R&D Engineer-related occupation.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $155,000 - $180,000 annually.
