Job Description:
Supervises experienced business enablers and/or entry individual contributors. Coordinates processes and assignments for the Process Engineering team and supports organizational objectives and business goals by designing and integrating optimized production operation sequences. Implements project terms to meet objectives and goals of the Process Engineering area. Ensures compliance with established processes for strategic plans and serves as a primary point of contact for junior team members. Supervises individual contributors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. That dictate how to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques to streamline operational processes. Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for Process Engineering area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products and process efficiency. Leads the implementation of new production processes and procedures that aim to streamline the organization's mass production operations and utilizes knowledge of process engineering to devise modifications that encourage a culture of continuous improvement. Evaluates performance of production stages to determine process engineering faults, equipment failures, and compliance risks in order to provide insight in the design of optimized production sequences and manufacturing operations. Maintains steady workflow and productivity through implementing quality control processes and resolves operational decisions within the team. Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Engineering, any specialty. Masters in Science is recommendable. 5 to 9 years in a similar position, preferably. Experience in the medical industry, preferably. Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry. Experiment design SPC knowledge Management of statistical procedures. Knowledge of computer programs. Oral and written communication in Spanish and English, preferably. Process Engineer II, Senior and Staff: Strong comprehension of standard costs and work standards. Process Engineer Senior and Staff: Knowledge of productive processes. Process Engineer Staff: Experimental Engineering techniques, 80% english
