We are seeking the best talent for the position Tecnico de Soporte de Produccion II.
Purpose: Under direct supervision, tests and analyzes product. Provides feedback to associates and involved departments, according to the results of the analysis performed. Develops technical functions related to the product through testing, quality control, and process instructions in the Manufacturing area. Provides alternatives for process improvement, equipment, artifacts, and/or manufacturing system.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provides solution to manufacturing problems of current and new models.
- Carries out basic operational diagnostic tests. Solves problems and disconnects components, sub-assemblies, and manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment, in order to isolate faults, determine the solution, and perform the pertinent training.
- Analyzes non-conforming product on the production line; determines root cause and proposes corrective actions working in team with the manufacturing supervisor and with the engineering and quality departments.
- Initiates, adjusts and operates basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
- Performs simple tests on processes/products, as well as quality conformity audits and/or other regulatory requirements.
- Conducts basic tests and evaluations, experimental tests, and design proposal research under operational conditions. Records the procedures and results of said tests, as well as numerical and graphical data for review by Operations.
- Can provide technical recommendations and support in new projects, process improvements, and quality investigations.
- Can support the diagnosis and analysis of customer complaints; conducts awareness sessions for operators and determines the root cause and proposes corrective actions and corrective actions working in team with the manufacturing supervisor, and with the engineering, quality, and failure analysis laboratory departments.
- Can support the solution of product-related problems; evaluating electrical or test systems, components, and equipment.
- Can support the solution of product-related customer complaints; evaluating electrical or test systems, components, and equipment.
- Provides support to operators, group leaders, and trainers, in matters proper to the discipline.
- Performs inspections of their own work.
- Follows standardized procedures when performing their tasks, whenever they apply.
- Follows the Policies of Administration of Appropriate Information Records of J&J and the Campus, Records Retention Program, training and education, Notices of Document Retention, record cleaning, inactive records and Information Management, Vital Records, and if applicable to suppliers.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all listed responsibilities.
- Has completed the environmental and safety training, appropriate for their discipline.
- Is responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next managerial level.
- For those who supervise or manage personnel, they are responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environment practices and that all necessary resources to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
- Is responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations, policies, and procedures of the company.
- Performs other assigned tasks as necessary.
Qualifications / Required:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, group leader position, and/or related training preferably.
- Technical career studies, high school diploma, or truncated career.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the manufactured products in Biosense Webster or similar products.
- Two years of experience as a Production Support Technician preferably.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge to audit production processes.
- Ability to enter data in spreadsheets and database applications.
- Medium knowledge of Problem Solving and Failure Analysis.
- Knowledge of product complaint investigation.
- Leadership.
- Ability to resolve faults, in aspects or areas proper to manufacturing.
- Ability to integrate into work groups.
- Knowledge of the company's product.
- Ability to use measurement and test equipment associated with the specific discipline.
- Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation associated with the specific discipline.
- Ability to successfully complete departmental/corporate training courses in manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to learn about regulatory requirements (GMP and GDP).
- Ability to use personal computer and related software.
