- Standardize and consolidate regional or one-off solutions into scalable, global offerings.
- Automate administration and operations, delivering efficient processes and user-facing interfaces for service access.
- Apply security best practices across services, including RBAC enforcement, patching, OS lifecycle management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating as needed, while maintaining clear documentation and transparency.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or 5 years of equivalent experience in networking.
- Required
- 3+ years of enterprise network or systems engineering experience, preferably in global environments.
- Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network services on Linux-based platforms (e.g., jump servers, file servers, PAM, backup).
- Experience operating and enhancing enterprise services such as jump servers, file servers, PAM, or backup servers.
- Exposure to cloud networking and cloud-native service delivery (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of network telemetry protocols (SNMP, syslog, NetFlow/IPFIX, packet analysis).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Ansible, or low-code platforms such as Itential) for automation and integrations.
- Practical experience applying security operations (RBAC, patching, OS lifecycle, vulnerability remediation).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to document and share solutions.
- Preferred
- Experience migrating services or tools from on-premises to cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with lifecycle management dashboards and reporting.
- Knowledge of enterprise observability and automation integrations.
- Experience with DevOps fundamentals, infrastructure-as-code, or API integrations.
