We are searching for the best talent for a Manager, Resource Decision Support to be located in Spring House, PA; Raritan, NJ; or Titusville, NJ.

The Manager, Resource Decision Support will support R&D senior leadership by delivering business insights related to demand forecasting to drive sourcing, new asset integration, and Therapeutic Area portfolio decisions. Working closely with Global Development Delivery Units, Therapeutic Area (TA) Finance, Capacity Management, and other departments, this position will develop and implement new processes, analytics, and visualizations to support the Portfolio Performance & Resourcing (PPR) vision.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required to translate complex technical approaches to simple and clear recommendations for decision making. A clear understanding of the business environment with strong organizational awareness will also be significant for success.

This position calls for individuals who can demonstrate their ability to think strategically and build strong professional relationships across different areas of the organization to advance our strategic goals.

You will be responsible for:

  • Fostering a team culture passionate about continuous improvement and promoting collaboration.
  • Helping build new service model and end products for the RDS department.
  • Partnering with other Global Development and Finance leaders, as needed, to build new innovative analytics and visualizations.
  • Building and maintaining forecasting models to support TA staff planning, as needed.
  • Producing high-quality and comprehensive reports that consolidate cross-functional insights across PPR departments including forecasting model changes, portfolio change, function/team level risks, supply/Flex analytics, and CRO/vendor key messages.
  • Presenting findings in a clear and impactful manner to both internal and external parties involved in decision making. Communicate insights and suggested business actions in a way that is easy for everyone to understand.
  • Collaborating with important individuals in a business partner role to incorporate the benefits of forecasting models into decision-making processes.
  • Working with other business partners (Finance, Business Operations, IT, etc.) to provide coordinated, end-to-end, solutions to emerging business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Advanced degree is preferred

Required:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in portfolio management, forecasting & resourcing, data analytics, data science, or related field
  • Proven experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R/Shiny, or other analytical visualization tools
  • Demonstrates high learning agility and problem-solving capabilities
  • Track record of collaboration across geographies and functions
  • Innovative thinker and willingness to experiment in the pursuit of efficient, data-driven decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive change

Preferred:

  • Project and/or Portfolio management experience
  • Drug development experience
  • Experience or knowledge of Medical Affairs
  • Knowledge of Planisware and MS Tool Suite

The anticipated base pay range for this position in the US is $115,000 to $197,800.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
