We are searching for the best talent for a Head of Product Marketing, Monarch Urology. This role will be based in Santa Clara, CA. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.

The Head of Product Marketing, Monarch Urology, will report to the Sr. Director, Global Strategic Marketing, Monarch, and lead the global marketing strategy and execution for Monarch Urology. The Monarch Platform was first introduced in 2018, creating a new category of care as the first robotic-assisted bronchoscopy platform designed to help physicians access small, hard-to-reach lung nodules enabling earlier diagnosis of lung cancer.

The Monarch Platform, Urology, will once again create a new category of care as the first robotic-assisted urology platform designed for endoluminal and percutaneous access to the urinary tract to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

This critical leadership role will be accountable for driving a comprehensive global marketing strategy, including brand management, customer segmentation, targeting, value proposition, claims, messaging, and positioning for the Monarch Urology Product in preparation for a U.S. commercial launch. This individual will also help shape a robust market access and evidence generation strategy aligned with business growth objectives, while serving as the Marketing Lead for Launch Excellence planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Marketing lead for MONARCH Urology business in support of commercial launch and platform growth objectives.
  • Develops deep market insights and product expertise in partnership with strategic insights and product management teams, building a product marketing vision that drives early physician advocacy and commercial adoption.
  • Creates compelling brand strategy, value proposition, claims, messaging, and positioning to ensure commercial success of Monarch Urology with targeted customer segments in prioritized global markets.
  • Develops initial sales and marketing collateral, tools, and resources to support sales team. Guides all content through J&J copy-approval process to ensure compliance.
  • Partners closely with commercial team (Sales, Education, Service) to ensure flawless execution of the MONARCH Urology launch plan, including training, education, and coordination for key activities, conferences, and programs.
  • Designs, tracks, and communicates leading indicators for commercial performance. Monitors product/brand awareness, customer sentiment, and effectiveness of messaging, marketing programs, and tools designed to accelerate commercial adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Builds deep relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and strategic partners. Drives VOC research and a global physician engagement/collaboration strategy to ensure product development, commercial advocacy, education, market access, and clinical research goals are achieved.
  • Partners with Business Development to identify and evaluate external technologies and commercial partnership opportunities in Urology.
  • Leads Urology conference strategy, planning and execution globally.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in relevant MedTech roles including Upstream Marketing, Downstream Marketing, Product Management, Sales, or similar.
  • Robotics, medical technology, capital equipment, consumable, and service product experience and knowledge required.
  • Launching disruptive technology into new markets or categories of care is highly preferred.
  • Urology market and procedure experience (including kidney stone, bladder, and/or prostate) is highly preferred.
  • Experience driving and managing Marketing Agency relationships, including the development of marketing briefs, SOWs, and deliverable timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize competitive market insights, VOC research, and highly technical product concepts into simple, compelling narratives that can be communicated effectively to customers and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience building and shaping marketing strategy, while exercising sound judgment and appropriate risk taking.
  • Demonstrated ability creating winning product strategies and value propositions that span different customer segments (HCPs, hospital administrators, payers, etc).
  • Superior communication skills with ability to mobilize an organization by setting a clear vision, strategy, and action plan to deliver results.
  • Proven tenacity, agility, and energy to inspire commercial and executive leadership teams; high tolerance for ambiguity, and ability to operate and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and hyper-growth business environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, interpersonal skills, and ability to partner across functions and regions to influence the organization and drive achievement of business goals.

Other:

  • This position will be based in Santa Clara CA, and will require up to 30% travel, including domestic and international.
  • This position will require attending and supporting key customer engagement events and industry conferences in the U.S., which may include some weekend travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $153,000 - $207,000; $175,950 - $238,050 Bay Area

Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
