We have an exciting and challenging role within our team as a Clinical Support Specialist based in Lisbon.

Purpose of the role: You will be responsible for maintaining an existing customer base and developing surgical support, identify sales opportunities in strategic accounts across a number of Lisbon Sales Territories. In this role, you will become an integral part of the sales team by providing support to several territory managers in servicing their customers and accounts.

What to expect:

  • Provide in theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products of Joints and Trauma Business
  • Provide accurate information regarding all products and their indications (i.e. surgical techniques) for use to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff
  • Provide first class service and seamless supply to customers including training, stock checks, timely deliveries and supporting the theatre team to ensure the operation proceeds successfully
  • Assist in the promotion/correct use of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Orthopaedics products through regular, organised customer education meetings and training sessions
  • Develop business opportunities across the portfolio in Key Focus Accounts, communicate to the Territory Manager, and assist in the successful conversion of these business opportunities
  • Provide support to Johnson & Johnson MedTech Orthopaedics Education Events
  • Achieve Business goals in line with CREDO Values
  • Promote use of portfolio and services to Orthopaedic Surgeons, Theatre Staff
  • Maintain and grow the business as defined by the individual business plan and Key Opinion Leader targets
  • Proactively build and develop relationships with Clinical stakeholders
  • Develop a portfolio of territory Key Opinion Leaders across the product portfolio
  • Cover surgical cases as required to support regional colleagues

Essential Requirements: Who are we looking for?

  • A Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Health Sciences like Nursing
  • 1-3 years of work experience within sales in healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits is preferred
  • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills
  • Passionate, Purpose Driven and Proactive
  • Advance-level computer skills, and the ability to multitask without the direct oversight of manager required.
  • Analytical thinking and results driven. Steadfastly pushes self for results

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
