JnJ Innovative Medicine France recruits a Junior Product Manager (H/F). Within the Onco-Hematology Business Unit, the junior product manager for Thoracic Oncology contributes to the development of the strategy and growth of its therapeutic area within a context of launch and high stakes. His/her mission is to:

  • Guarantee and participate in the development of the strategy and product ambitions of the laboratory in order to contribute to the development of its therapeutic area
  • Participate in the design and execution of the Brand Value Plan to achieve sales objectives, in compliance with the J&J Credo and applicable regulations
  • Create value for the company and our franchises by perfectly responding to the needs and expectations of our customers through a perfect knowledge of the therapeutic area, the patient care journey, its environment, and the evolution of the healthcare system
  • Ensure quality and operational efficiency
  • Carry the innovation and inspire the marketing community through differentiated approaches to anticipate paradigm shifts and carry our digital and omnichannel ambition

Main activities:

  • Marketing activity:
    • Contribute to the development of its therapeutic area through the construction and development of the product strategic and tactical plan
    • Participate actively in the pre-launch and launch of the drug
    • Implement promotional campaigns for the network and ensure the increase in expertise
    • Responsible for the development and operational follow-up of these marketing campaigns
    • Propose actions to enrich the product differentiation through innovative communication and services (recall, field feedback, competitive intelligence, digital solutions…)
    • Strengthen the omni-channel approach, multi-target and develop solutions adapted to the needs of our customers
    • Test key actions and implement success tracking indicators to measure the impact and arbitrate the implementation, follow-up and continuity of actions
    • Provide operational support on certain key local or national initiatives or events
    • Take into account the results of market studies and the analysis of quantitative results of the franchise in its actions
  • Communication:
    • Present product campaigns and services to networks in order to maximize their motivation and increase competence and expertise of the network on products and service offerings in coordination with sales management
    • Participate in the design and animation of sales force seminars
    • Be a force of proposal, assert its "voice" and actively contribute to the reflections and actions carried out in connection with the projects of the therapeutic area
  • Client relations:
    • Participate actively in the development of client knowledge within its therapeutic area and the company
    • Develop an important presence in the field, accompany certain key actions with clients and contribute to identifying key local actors' meshes
  • Cross-functional relations:
    • Ensure the follow-up of projects with external providers and promote operational excellence
    • Implement a systematic information feedback process from local teams and ensure sharing within cross-functional teams
    • Ensure the know-how within the company by regularly communicating on the actions carried out and their impacts
    • Ensure close collaboration between the different members of the CVT and cross-functional departments during the conduct of a project
    • Develop collaborative working relationships with its interlocutors within the BUs for the good conduct and implementation of the product plan
    • Maintain regular contact with the product team, its field and headquarters interlocutors and healthcare professionals, for a good adaptation of proposals
  • Project Management:
    • Pilot, coordinate and follow the impact analysis of actions/projects in full compliance with the rules and processes in force within Janssen
    • Work closely with cross-functional departments and the different members of the COR
    • Feed the competitive and environmental intelligence
    • Identify customer needs and be a force of proposal for actions and service offers as close as possible to customers
    • Contribute to the Brand Plan to enrich the product strategic and tactical plan
  • Budget and logistics:
    • Manage the implementation of the different projects in compliance with regulatory and financial processes: advertising, DMOS, etc.
    • Monitor the allocated budget and respect its good execution

    The position within the organization:

    N+1: Marketing Manager

    Education and experience:

    • PhD / Pharmacist / MBA or Business or Engineering Schools, ideally with a scientific background
    • You have at least one professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including a product manager role. Experience on oncology products, preferably in thoracic oncology, on a competitive high-stakes product is preferable.

    English level:

    • Fluent in writing and speaking (ability to regularly interact with European teams)

    Competencies/knowledge/know-how:

    • Knowledge of the French pharmaceutical industry environment
    • Mastery of the functioning of the healthcare system and hospital environment
    • Expertise in a specialized therapeutic domain, particularly thoracic oncology
    • Knowledge of computer software (Office Pack)
    • Knowledge of communication systems and tools
    • Knowledge of digital marketing, good knowledge of social networks
    • Competence in managing projects in multidisciplinary teams
    • Team spirit, favoring group work and force of proposals
    • Ability to develop a professional network, interact with hospital actors, learned societies and patient associations
    • Ability to work in a network in interface with internal services, in full autonomy (leadership, curiosity, agility, listening and capacity of influence)
    • Ability to speak publicly in a clear and impactful way
