Instructor Crew Services
The Instructor is responsible for delivering initial and recurrent training for all Crew Services roles, and others, as required. This role ensures that all training aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Instructor will collaborate closely with the Crew Services Leadership, Standards, and System Operations Training Leadership to develop, maintain, and enhance training programs that incorporate effective instructional methods to maximize learning outcomes and operational performance.
Essential Functions:
- Schedule, prepare and deliver instructor lead training for all Crew Services roles and others, as required
- Assists with courseware development and other collateral duties associated with Crew Services training
- Conduct needs analyses and training feedback evaluations
- Collaborate with other College of System Operations (COS) instructors and developers to develop standard, high quality curricula that remain applicable and responsive to evolving operational requirements
- Work closely with the Crew Services Standards and others to ensure training curricula are aligned with current Crew Services policies and procedures
- Conduct audits to ensure curricula content is thorough, relevant, accurate, and current
- Provide SME support for the CMS project team, Training Strategy and Design team and other projects as assigned
- Assist with supporting Crew Services OJT as necessary
- Maintain Crew Services Crewmember qualification and currency
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Two (2) years of relevant operational experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Thorough understanding of Comply 365 (Manual & Manual Supplements) and Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 117
- Demonstrated knowledge in Crew Services and SOC operational policies, procedures, and systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent coaching skills and the ability to motivate and mentor students
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on developing PowerPoint presentations
- Candidates must demonstrate Presentation Design, Communication, and Facilitation skills in a work sample assessment.
- Ability to work independently
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of three (3) years of airline operations experience within Crew Services
- Experience in JetBlue Crew Services operations
- On the job training instructor (OJTI)
- Prior instructional or teaching experience
- Experience in curriculum design or development
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and methodologies

- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
- Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
