Your tasks:

• Ensuring and continuously improving the availability of production facilities
• Close coordination on production-related topics with the supply chain management, quality assurance, and team and shift leaders
• Conception and further development of assembly and testing facilities as well as the associated workplaces
• Testing, optimizing, and introducing new manufacturing processes and procedures
• Active support in preventive, corrective, and continuous improvement measures (KVP)
• Development and implementation of lean and KVP processes with the aim of sustainably increasing productivity
• Responsibility for collecting, evaluating, and transparently presenting process- and quality-related data
• Preparation of audits and elimination of audit deviations
• Implementation of practical and pragmatic solutions directly in the production environment with a clear hands-on mentality

Your profile:

• Successfully completed study with a focus on mechatronics, production technology, mechanical engineering or a similar degree
• Alternatively, a technical qualification as an industrial master in mechatronics or mechanical engineering, state-approved technician in mechatronics, mechanical engineering technology or electrical engineering/automation technology or similar
• Several years of professional experience in the manufacture of complex optical components and systems
• Profound technical understanding and a high interest in process-technological tasks
• Very good knowledge in the adjustment of components and validation/testing of adjustment facilities
• Solid experience in the design, commissioning, and maintenance of complex production facilities
• Secure handling in reading technical drawings, plans, and parts lists
• Pronounced hands-on mentality and the ability to approach technical challenges in a practical and solution-oriented manner
• Analytical thinking, structured and result-oriented working method as well as a high sense of responsibility
• Fluent German and English language skills
