R&D Technician

About the Role

As an R&D Technician, you will be an important part of our development team and will work on improving and renewing our High Performance and classified products. You will be involved in everything from design and material selection to testing and documentation – always with the goal of creating products that are both smart, safe, and manufacturable.

You will:

• Perform tests in our laboratories and analyze results
• Develop new product solutions and improve existing designs
• Collaborate with internal and external testing institutes to ensure our products meet current standards
• Create technical drawings and models in SolidWorks
• Document products and processes for internal and external tests
• Contribute to future strategies within R&D and participate in European development projects

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in technology and thrives in an environment where innovation and quality are at the forefront. You are structured, analytical, and have an easy time collaborating – but you are also self-driven and take your own initiatives.

We believe you have:

• Engineering education or equivalent experience in manufacturing or laboratory work
• Good understanding of materials such as wood, aluminum, glass, and fittings
• Experience with testing methods and standards, preferably in fire, sound, and burglary protection
• Familiarity with CAD programs like SolidWorks and ePDM
• Very good knowledge of English and Swedish

As a person, you are curious and solution-oriented with a meticulous and structured mindset. You are a team player who can also take the lead when needed.
