Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team, specifically focused on the client-side track. The ideal candidate thrives in a low-level systems environment and is passionate about anti-cheat engine development and security. We need a highly autonomous engineer who is comfortable in a small, focused team with minimal organizational overhead and values a trust-based, remote culture.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and ongoing rewrite of the flagship anti-cheat engine in C and C++.
• Work closely with game studio clients to diagnose and fix bugs, ensuring the anti-cheat solution maintains high game performance without causing crashes.
• Analyze and reverse engineer new cheats identified by the security operations center to inform and drive engine updates.
• Proactively surface blockers and technical ideas concisely in a low-meeting environment.
• Participate in an environment that values deep work and technical ownership of the client-side codebase.

Some Must-Haves

• Strong C and C++ proficiency; systems-level programming is essential for this role.
• Proven experience in Windows systems programming.
• Deep background in Security Engineering and experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro or Ghidra.
• Experience using GitHub for version control and Jira for issue tracking.
• Highly autonomous and a clear communicator who can manage their own workload without being prompted.

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
