Senior Software Engineer (Python/Django/React)

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer focused on building and maintaining integrations with external partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across backend and frontend systems, navigating complex architectures, and improving reliability in evolving systems — including legacy environments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services using Python and Django
- Build and maintain APIs and partner integrations
- Develop frontend components using React and Angular
- Work with OAuth and authentication flows for secure integrations
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability across services
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data access and performance
- Collaborate closely with engineers through pairing and code reviews
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
Some Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend experience with Python and Django
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Familiarity with OAuth and authentication flows
- Experience with React and/or Angular
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases
- Experience with monitoring and debugging production systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Background in ETL, data synchronization, or data analysis
- Experience working with monolithic or legacy codebases
- Familiarity with pair programming practices
- Experience with automated testing and QA processes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, YAML)
- Exposure to AI agents or code assistance tools
