Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (GoLang/React)

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who thrives in a structured agile environment and is comfortable owning deployments end-to-end. This is not a strictly front-end or back-end role; we need someone who is energized by operating across the entire stack. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills to a team that values transparency, proactive problem-solving, and deep peer collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across the stack using GoLang and React.
• Manage and monitor deployments using AWS and leverage New Relic for alerting and system analysis.
• Serve as an on-call support engineer approximately once every other month during business hours (no after-hours standby) to monitor systems and act as the deployment point of contact.
• Contribute to an open peer-review process—reviewing others' code and welcoming constructive feedback on your own.
• Engage in regular 1:1s with the Director of Engineering to ensure alignment and professional growth.

Some Must-Haves

• Professional experience with GoLang, Redis, and RESTful API development.
• Strong skills in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and MUI (or comparable component libraries).
• Experience with mobile-first development and a firm understanding of accessibility standards (color contrast, screen reader support, etc.).
• Familiarity with AWS and monitoring tools like New Relic.
• A transparent communicator who is comfortable in a highly collaborative, peer-review-heavy environment.

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
