Who We're Looking For

The Junior Full Stack Engineer will join an early-stage engineering team that's laying the groundwork for an AI-driven procurement platform. In this role, you'll take the lead on building polished, user-facing features with React and TypeScript, while also contributing to backend APIs using NestJS and Node.js.

You'll work side-by-side with the founding team and senior engineers to deliver core functionality, enhance user experience, and help define the product's technical direction. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow quickly, take ownership, and develop full-stack skills in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Front-End Feature Development: Implements responsive, intuitive user interfaces using React and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on component architecture and usability.
• Full Stack Engineering: Builds and integrates front-end features with backend APIs powered by NestJS/Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborative Product Development: Works closely with designers and product managers to translate requirements into functional and delightful user experiences.
• Code Quality and Testing: Writes clean, testable code and participates in peer code reviews. Contributes to automated testing initiatives using modern frameworks.
• UX and Performance Optimization: Identifies areas for improving page load speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
• Agile Team Collaboration: Participates in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives while learning best practices in agile software development.
• Growth and Mentorship: Receives mentorship from senior engineers and contributes to team-wide technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Some Must-Haves

• 2–4 years of professional experience in front-end or full stack development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience building web applications with React
• Familiarity with backend development using Node.js (preferably NestJS)
• Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Comfortable translating product requirements into high-quality code
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, startup environment
