We are looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team serving our southeast water/wastewater/water resource clients. The candidate will work on a variety of wastewater projects serving our municipal, federal, industrial, and other clients. This position will require working independently and as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams to develop design concepts and prepare preliminary and detailed designs. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on a wide variety of tasks and with peers in the Pensacola, FL, office and throughout the company. Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide planning, consulting, design, and construction-phase services for municipal, federal, industrial, and other clients over a wide variety of fields.
• Prepare conceptual designs, detailed design drawings, and construction specifications.
• Coordinate wastewater process work with other discipline engineering and design staff.
• Provides technical guidance and mentors less experienced and remote design and engineering personnel.
• Participate in planning, cost development, and scheduling for assigned projects.
• Work with subject matter experts in offices throughout the United States.

Here's What You'll Need

• B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience as a water/wastewater engineer.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), with the ability to obtain licensing in Florida, Alabama, and other states.
• Experience working with biological treatment processes, for example, nitrification, denitrification, and enhanced biological phosphorus removal.
• Experience working with biosolids processes.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ideally, you'll also have a Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $130,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
