Performs stress and support engineering related activities for assigned project and activity. Conversant with stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment like Column, tanks, exchangers, pumps/compressors/reactors etc.
Conversant with requirements like trunnion calculation, flange leakage calculations, qualification of allowable nozzle loads etc.
Provides resolution of technical issues related to stress and support engineering. Prioritization and planning of engineering activities and deliverables.
Working knowledge of stress analysis tools like Caesar-II and AutoPIPE
Exposure to the latest American and European standards and codes.
Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant codes and standards.
BE Mechanical Engineer with 6-15 years of experience in stress analysis tools like Caesar-II and AutoPIPE. Experience in AutoPIPE is must.
