Jacobs offers a full range of Energy & Power project services from pre-feasibility and concept design, through to detailed design, project management services, owner's engineering support and site supervision. We are looking for a motivated person who is enthusiastic to work with project teams and clients, primarily within the Generation sector.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer, initially working on a power project in Queensland. This role will allow you to work alongside disciplines across Australia and the Asia Pacific region, helping our clients to develop, construct and operate power generation projects that support Australia's, and the world's, sustainable future. You will liaise with our clients, building strong relationships, influencing decisions, and becoming a trusted project partner. You will work across a range of generation technologies, further developing your understanding of energy engineering principles, with mentorship from the Jacobs team every step of the way to discuss and foster your most effective career path.

As an Electrical Project Engineer, your experience should demonstrate a strong foundational knowledge in electrical engineering, with an understanding of related disciplines. You'll be providing technical due diligence, project development services, concept designs, and owner's engineer services, so familiarity with these areas is beneficial, along with:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering
• A track record of delivering excellent engineering consultancy services, particularly in power generation projects
• Experience leading small projects or key components within larger initiatives
• Strong client relationship management skills
• A passion for business development and contributing to proposal preparation
