In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of complex and high-value energy infrastructure projects across the UK and Continental Europe. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the design and specification of high-voltage (HV) substation plant and systems, supporting projects that span transmission assets, HVDC interconnectors, energy storage solutions, and facilities for mission-critical sectors. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing designs up to 400kV, from concept and FEED through to detailed design for construction. You will ensure technical excellence, compliance with client specifications, and adherence to health, safety, and quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with major clients such as National Grid and SSEN, interface with other engineering disciplines, and contribute to the development of a resilient and sustainable energy network.
