National Account Executive - Dublin - 13-15 Month Ftc

The National Account Executive supports the management and growth of key national customers across Ireland. The role focuses on supporting Account Managers, executing customer plans, analysing sales data, and ensuring excellence in promotional admin execution.

This role is an incredible opportunity for anyone who has an interest in the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop, improve, and hone highly transferable commercial skills applicable across industries and markets. Additional to the National Account Executive responsibilities, our candidate will have the opportunity to assist marketing and category management, gaining firsthand knowledge of these exciting roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the National Account managers with their day-to-day tasks, including new product set up, running reports, creating presentations etc.
  • Prepare and submit promotional submissions in line with the customer calendars.
  • Create promotional briefs to share with the field sales team.
  • Manage promotional funding and forecasting in our internal platform XTEL.
  • Monitor customer pricing and amend any discrepancies in SAP.
  • Support Marketing with PR activity and budget management.
  • Assist Category Management with data analysis and creating presentations.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years' experience in sales or a commercial role (FMCG experience highly valued).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Full right to work/work permits for the duration of the contract
