The Out-of-Home segment of JDE Peet's supplies coffee and tea concepts to offices, government institutions, catering and hospitality, in short all institutions outside the supermarket channel. At JDE Peet's, everything revolves around creating meaningful coffee moments. As a Key Account Manager, you are ultimately responsible for a portfolio of Key Accounts within various educational and healthcare institutions. You inspire and connect customers, offering tailored solutions that underline the added value of our premium coffee and tea concepts.

You work at headquarters level with various stakeholders from procurement to the executive board and know how to translate opportunities into long-term relationships and contracts. Whether it's a procurement process in education or a new partnership with a national catering chain: you see the commercial and social value. Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and account plans for assigned accounts and prospects.
  • Lead complex sales processes, such as tenders, procurement and contract negotiations.
  • Sell total concepts (ingredients, delivery, machines, service and financing) that meet the specific needs of the customer.
  • Functionally steer project teams in implementations and internal projects.
  • Coordinate tenders, quotes and cooperation agreements in close cooperation with departments such as Tenderdesk, Finance, Demand Planning, Marketing and Customer Service.
  • Inspire customers and partners through presentations, customer visits and events.
  • Build, maintain and expand long-term customer relationships within your segment(s).

For the position of Key Account Manager Commercial, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of a higher professional education/university degree;
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in the FMCG industry;
  • Full-time availability;
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking;
  • Experience with consultative selling and the preparation of sales plans;
  • Talent for networking and connecting stakeholders;
  • Creative team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
