As a Field Service Technician at JDE, you are part of our technical team that is passionate about our product (coffee), technology, and ensuring exceptional customer experience. As a technical specialist, you are the face of our company to the customer and provide qualitative technical service: you perform preventive maintenance of coffee machines and you act directly when a malfunction is reported by the customer. You work mainly in the region of Gent – Oudenaarde, but you are also flexible to occasionally step in for colleagues from other regions or to be present in our office.

Your main responsibilities:

• You resolve technical problems with customers' state-of-the-art coffee machines, which are communicated in advance by the Field Service Planning.
• You are present at the customer's location within the predetermined time to resolve the technical problem. All activities related to the function of Field Service Technician are performed according to safety regulations.
• You perform technical interventions in a professional and customer-oriented manner, with the quality of service being of high importance.
• You perform tasks in the software, electrical and mechanical fields.
• You visit customers with newly installed machines within a set time frame, performing supplementary information and any possible re-installation of the equipment according to the customer's needs.
• You carry out occasional and preventive maintenance visits.
• You assist in carrying out installations and/or returns in exceptional cases, depending on projects or circumstances.
• You are the face of our company to the customer.

Your profile:

• You have obtained an A2 diploma in Electronics / Electricity
• You preferably have experience in a similar position, but technically strong school leavers with the right motivation can also be considered.
• You combine good technical knowledge (with interest in learning) with a commercial/professional attitude towards customers.
• You have a good analytical ability in solving technical problems with customers.
• You have good oral communication skills in Dutch and French.
• You can work independently and remain calm in stressful situations.
• You are well organized in carrying out various activities.
• You have a driver's license B.
• You have a BA4 safety certificate or are willing to obtain it.
• You are flexible - occasional service outside normal working hours (weekend/evening service).
• Preferred place of residence: region of Gent – Oudenaarde
