General Role Profile: Manages Knowledge Leader employees and/or highly skilled Business Services employees. Acts as an advisor to workgroup and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. Requires understanding and application of fundamental business concepts and procedures and practices within own job family and basic knowledge of other related job families. Applies understanding of how the Team relates to other closely related Areas to improve efficiency of own Team. Exercises some initiative and independent judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action where problems are of moderate scope and complexity. Impacts own Team directly and related Teams' ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness objectives within own Area. Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures, and Team plan. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers Firm's policies that directly affect reporting employees. Gains cooperation of others, conducting presentations of functional/process information concerning specific projects or schedules.
