Our client is a rapidly growing startup providing cutting-edge internet security services, including DDoS protection and cybersecurity infrastructure for businesses across Malta and international markets.

About the Role They are looking for a Technical Sales Manager with a strong background in hosting environments, networking, and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between sales and technical delivery — understanding complex client requirements and translating them into tailored, effective solutions.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet both commercial and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their infrastructure, security, and performance requirements.
• Present and promote cybersecurity, hosting, and DDoS mitigation solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver bespoke technical proposals.
• Conduct technical demonstrations and product walkthroughs.
• Support the sales cycle with in-depth product and infrastructure knowledge.
• Stay updated on new technologies, emerging security threats, and hosting trends.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in technical or pre-sales roles within hosting, networking, or cybersecurity environments.
• Strong understanding of DDoS protection, cloud infrastructure, CDN, or server hosting.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for technology and a customer-focused mindset.
