Our Approach Is Built On Being:
The Role
This is an exciting and varied opportunity for a true generalist looking to take on an important role in the business, contributing to key people initiatives and helping shape a positive employee experience. Working closely with the Head of HR and key stakeholders, you'll provide pragmatic and effective HR advice, problem-solving and guidance across all people-related matters.
You'll be a confident HR Advisor, able to pro-actively develop strong relationships and gain a deep understanding of organizational challenges. This hands-on role requires you to switch between operational and strategic priorities, balancing reactive needs with proactive planning to support short, medium, and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The Candidate
You are an experienced all-rounder and true HR generalist. You're comfortable managing a varied workload and shifting between strategic and operational priorities. You know when to ask for support and when to flag potential issues, and you bring a pragmatic, best-fit approach to HR. You flex your style and approach based on the situation, using professional influence to promote good people management across all levels. You understand the importance of consistency while tailoring solutions to meet business needs. As a collaborative team player, you're happy to mentor junior colleagues and support cross-role learning. You understand the payroll lifecycle and ideally have experience managing a payroll provider. You will be confident with HR systems (including BambooHR), and eager to promote and adopt the use of AI within the team. Your strengths lie in relationship building, communication, and influencing management to drive positive change, inclusive and commercial decisions.
Benefits
If you're enthusiastic about this opportunity but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway and demonstrate how your experience is transferrable. You may be just the right candidate. We are committed to equality and inclusion to empower people both within our organization and through our work. We know that employees with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences make us a more effective and innovative company and we therefore welcome and encourage applications from interested candidates regardless of age, sex, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief. We are not able to support a work permit for this role so candidates must already hold the right to live and work in the UK independently. Please note, we will be interviewing candidates on a rolling basis, early applications are encouraged.
