Service Specialist

The Service Specialist will support the client in processing all incoming packages and mail using our technology in Greensboro NC in our centralized mail center. This role requires hands-on processing of all mail-packages, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure a high standard of client satisfaction and employee performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as a strong commitment to operational excellence and have excellent customer service. The ideal candidate must be reliable and dependable to report to work each day on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scan in all FedEx, UPS, Amazon packages and deliver them to staff/students throughout the building promptly
- Process all incoming and outgoing USPS mail apply postage using our postage machine
- On occasion, drive a courier van around campus dropping off/picking up mail and packages and getting signatures from staff and students
- Maintain accurate documentation, including job logs, time records, and productivity reports; Troubleshoot issues with equipment, workflow, and client needs to maintain smooth operations

Hourly Compensation: $17.00-$17.00 USD per hour

Location: Greensboro NC near North Carolina A&T University Campus
Job Responsibilities:
- Experience handling and processing USPS mail and packages and sending out packages, printing out package labels
- Familiarity with computer basics is required
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers/students and other employees and team members
- Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service; Must have ability to multi-task, manage multiple accounts and establish priorities
- A valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
- Lifting up to 40 pounds; Standing for long periods of time; Willingness to cross-train for other job functions
- Must be comfortable being on your feet 5-6hrs per day
- High school diploma or GED is required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and legal US authorization to work for any employer
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks; capable of lifting up to 55 pounds
- MS Office Suite skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Have excellent customer service skills and be a team player
