This is a turnaround and growth opportunity at the same time.
The role
You are the Fitness Sales Director.
You own revenue.
That means:
- Membership sales
- Personal training revenue
- Show rate and pipeline performance
- Team output (appointment setters, front desk, trainers)
You are not "managing."
You are building and driving the system.
The 90-day prove-it period
We start with execution.
First 90 days:
- Base: $13/hour (~40–45 hours/week)
- Full access to commission + bonus structure
- Clear expectation: produce and grow the business
Targets:
- 120–140 membership sales/month
- Attrition → 3.5% or lower
- Build and grow PT department
- Establish a high-performing sales team
How you get paid (during build phase)
This is not capped income.
- 10% on membership upfront revenue
- Monthly bonus at $10,000 cash collected
- 10% on paid-in-full PT
- 8% on financed PT
- 10% on PT draft growth
- 15% on programs, nutrition, and scan packages
This is a production role. If you perform, you get paid.
Real earnings (example)
This is not hypothetical.
A realistic 8-week production window can generate:
- ~$5K base
- ~$4K–$5K commissions + bonuses
~$9,000+ in 8 weeks when executed correctly
This is based on expected production, not best-case.
The key lever (this is what makes this different)
At the end of 90 days:
You earn 20% of the net draft revenue you add—permanently added to your paycheck.
Examples:
- Add $10,000 → +$1,000/month
- Add $15,000 → +$1,500/month
- Add $20,000 → +$2,000/month
This becomes your new base as you transition into leadership.
The growth path
This is where this role separates itself.
If you perform, you move up:
- Level 1
- +300 net members (~2,100 total)
- $50K–$55K salary + commissions + bonuses
- Level 2
- +500 net members (~2,300 total)
- $60K–$65K salary + commissions + bonuses
- Level 3
- +750 net members (~2,550 total)
- $65K–$70K salary + commissions + bonuses
This is not capped. This is built to scale.
Long-term upside (read carefully)
For the right person:
- Opportunity to lead multiple locations
- Expansion into higher-level leadership
- Potential path to partnership / equity (minimum 2-year track, performance-based)
