Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at QuantHouse. In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of high-quality software products. Your expertise will empower teams to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and improve deployment efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient software delivery

• Collaborate with development teams to define and implement scalable architectures and deployment strategies

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues within production environments using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet

• Implement security best practices across the deployment lifecycle to ensure compliance and data protection

• Document processes and create runbooks for operational excellence and knowledge sharing

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker/LXC, proxmox and orchestration tools such as TerraForm / Kubernetes

• Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and performance

Preferred:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies

• Experience with AWS / Ansible

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and its deployment strategies

• Active contributions to open-source projects or community

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

• Hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git

• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing

• Competence in managing databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data storage solutions
