Application Support Engineer (Entry Level) – Remote

We are looking for you for our business area in Dortmund with around 170 employees. For our customers in the banking and finance sector, we develop software for the digitization of business processes from architecture to implementation. We rely on standard technologies, but also keep an eye on new developments.

With us, you will work in the dynamic environment of an IT company with current technologies and IT systems.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for our software components in the operating environments of our customers
• Installation, technical support and configuration of our software products
• Independent analysis of support requests and change requests of varying urgency and complexity
• Maintenance of software product releases
• Analysis and optimization of existing products and processes together with the process owners
• Close exchange with service managers, software developers and project managers
• Ensuring the agreed SLAs for several system landscapes
• Documentation of implemented solutions and processes
• Management of external service providers/customers and coordination of internal interfaces
• Leadership, control and technical support of the Application Manager expert group

Your Profile

• Completed training or comparable qualification with IT background
• Good knowledge in at least one of the operating systems. (Windows / Linux)
• SQL knowledge and experience with databases
• Sense of responsibility and a structured, service-oriented way of working as well as team skills
• Strong communication skills with target groups
• Good and secure German language skills in speech and writing, basic knowledge of English
