Customer Service Representative

We currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. This role is based out of our Oakville office and will report to the Customer Service Manager.

Job Summary

IPEX is looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll manage multiple accounts, collaborate across departments, and deliver exceptional service to our valued customers. Principal Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, delivery, technical support, and order status.
  • Resolve service issues, delays, and disputes with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Process and track customer orders via EDI, fax, and phone using our ERP system.
  • Verify pricing, terms, and delivery requirements to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor back-orders and coordinate with production, purchasing, and distribution teams.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and provide technical support using IPEX resources. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a professional, customer-first approach.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office; ERP experience is a desired asset
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues patiently and effectively.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
  • Industry experience is considered a strong asset.
