Service Desk Technician Onsite

We are hiring (2) Desktop Support Technicians to assist with a 3-Phase office relocation effort for an enterprise level financial/insurance company.

1st Phase: 1,000+ workstations need to be decommissioned, configured and deployed. Cable management and testing of devices.

2nd Phase: Providing support with end of life builds- going from 150 to 400 by end of the year 2026. Refreshes, imaging and rolling out of machines. Will assist with inventory.

3rd Phase: Hardware wiping, decommissioning the site, tech garage sale with e-cyclers (purchasing of equipment in bulk). Takes about 3-6 months to get comfortable with the systems they use. Travel between sites. May work a few hours on weekends.

Work Environment: IT Support, Tier 1/2, Office, Decommission, Refresh, Small Team, Travel between Des Moines offices.

Start Date & Interviews: Start Date: March 9, 2026. Interviews: February 19-26.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Set up and tear down desktops, standard cable management, printer testing, AV conference room assistance and testing, transport IT assets.

Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
