GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Network Engineer to support the AOUSC, this will be a remote position. Responsibilities include gathering information on the capabilities of company products, investigating technical capabilities, and staying abreast of developments in hardware and software. The role involves generating quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning, and design, ensuring compliance through formal verification methods. It also translates high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications, working with other engineering disciplines to develop lower-level detailed implementation requirements. The role establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures related to network and system development. The Senior Network Engineer designs interfaces and brings network and system elements together to work as a whole. They assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, serve as a customer liaison and support for business development activities, and understand and shape requirements. Additionally, the role coordinates the planning, design, and installation of equipment, participates in system conceptual design and documentation, installs new hardware, systems, and software for networks, designs, creates, and builds network services, equipment, and devices, generates system level requirements verification procedures, monitors system performance, and implements performance tuning. They also review test plans and procedures to ensure they meet contractual requirements and participate in the testing process to validate requirements.
Qualifications include a high school diploma with 10+ years of networking engineering experience (or commensurate experience) and a requirement for a public trust clearance.

Posted Pay Range: USD $124,500.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
