Senior Android Engineer

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Android Engineer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. Location: Englewood, CO or Remote

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test rich, interactive customer experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
• Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in native iOS and/or Android development.
• Proficiency in native iOS and/or Android programming languages (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin).
• Strong understanding of mobile development methodologies and best practices.
• Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
