Sales Associate/Optician
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Sales Associate/Optician for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: repair, adjust & dispense prescription lenses and frames. Measures and fits all eye wear. Takes measurement and evaluates patients for assistance in lens design. Files paperwork to insurance. Completes daily sales and receipts. Prepares bank deposits. Education: High School Diploma or GED/HiSET Day: Monday, Thursday & Friday Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: One year of optical industry experience preferred but not required. On the job training available. Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
