The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

As a Part Time Student for JD Global After & Customer Support, located in Rock Valley, IA you will:

• 3D modeling and engineering drawing creation and management using PTC Creo and Windchill software.
• 3D scanning of parts using a Creaform HandiScan scanner.
• Use of a Romer Arm for CMM purposes.
• Post processing of the digital scans into usable 3D parametric models.

What Skills You Need

Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university. Graduation date of Spring of 2027 or later. Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above. Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly. Available to work during the summer semester 30-40 hours/weekly. Must be able to commute to Rock Valley, Iowa. Proficiency with 3D modeling and 2D drawing software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

What Makes You Standout

Experience with PTC Creo design software. On/Off highway vehicle and/or farm machinery knowledge. Able to convey information and ideas clearly, concisely, and listen actively to others. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Able to manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.

Education

Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Engineering or Engineering Technician discipline Others may apply.

$15 - $40 hourly based on published rates for business function and education level. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
