Strategic Buyer for Indirect Materials and Services

Rheinmetall Expal Munitions is looking for a new Strategic Buyer for Indirect Materials and Services in Procurement at our Madrid Headquarter. Functions include:

• Development of methods for the procurement of all indirect materials, services and supplies
• Sharing of requirements with requesting departments and facilities
• Market and supplier monitoring
• Identification, selection, evaluation and further development of suppliers
• Analysis and management of procurement costs to optimize spending
• Identification of cost saving opportunities and implementation of efficiency strategies
• Active participation in the implementation of general procurement regulations (compliance, governance, trading partner rules, legal framework, etc.)
• Independent development of solutions to problems within area of responsibility
• Preparation of documents for decision making
• Conclusion of optimal agreements with suppliers, even in complex procurement processes

Location: Av. del Partenón, Madrid.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem solving skills
• Fluent Spanish and English
