Provides quality customer service, prepares invoices, dispatches tender trucks and provides office support for the Agronomy Manager and staff. Essential job functions include providing quality customer service to walk-in customers and on the phone, preparing accurate and timely invoices for all service work and products sold, scheduling and dispatching tender trucks in coordination with plant and warehouse staff, assisting in maintaining current pricing, communicating pricing to other staff, assisting in maintaining accurate inventory records for all agronomy products, scheduling meetings for Agronomy staff, and cross-training with other administrative positions at the location. Other job functions include following GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply, and performing all other duties as assigned. Requirements typically include an Associate's Degree in a business or agriculture related field or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of office related work experience. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. May be required to work extended hours during busy season. May be required to travel independently and overnight. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
