About the Position:
We are seeking a candidate with a desire to work and lead in the challenging and fast-paced environment of the Avionics group. This position will primarily be to support the Avionics management team as we work hardware from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn and develop project management and engineering skills, have the ability to work multiple programs and tasks, and be able to work with our multi-discipline team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with leadership on managing daily tasks and tracking work.
- Work with leadership, engineers and technicians to track and manage hardware/production issues to closure.
- Provide support on schedule planning, gathering updates, managing priorities, and making changes.
- Work with leadership and engineering to submit, track, manage, and resolve issues and constraints regarding procurements.
- Work with BOND room to execute ensuing kitting activities.
- Translate engineering procedures and drawings into Boltline Workplans.
- Work with leadership at diagnosing problems, developing innovative solutions, and implementing fixes under pressure.
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 0–3+ years in aerospace manufacturing, or design. specifically with electronics (harnessing, PCB, EEE parts, electromechanical assembly).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Read and understand discipline-specific drawings, and vendor documentation.
- Strong communication skills to work problems, and talk details to all team members.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project and department needs and technologies.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working with avionics/power components (harnessing, PCB, EEE parts, electromechanical assembly).
- Experience in working with Boltline or related production tracking tools.
- Some knowledge in working schedules in MS Project or equivalent.
