Primary Function of Position:
Engineer responsible for ensuring suppliers meet Intuitive specifications and produce high quality parts. This person is responsible for completing supplier engineering requirements and works with suppliers to improve their manufacturing processes and performance.
The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience in Plastic Injection Molding and/or Machining processes, including working as a manufacturing or process engineer and understanding process flow and equipment/tools to build product. This engineer will be qualifying parts through Cpk/Ppk analysis, SpFMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R, and Inspection Correlation. The role requires collaboration with DE and with supplier to develop the manufacturing process for NPI products.
This engineer is responsible for multiple parts concurrently and will be working under a tight timeline for qualification and ECO release.
