Purpose of Job:

Under supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, Testing & Charging, the Testing & Charging Warehouse Associate performs general warehouse operations functions such as, but not limited to, receiving, inventory management, and shipping.

Job Components:

• Accurately processes system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).

• Ensures products are free of damage and defect.

• Receives, unloads, and places incoming inventory items appropriately and accurately.

• Checks, verifies, and fulfills orders for shipment (i.e., pick, pack, ship) with impeccable accuracy.

• Safely operates inventory management tools with skill and care (e.g., pallet jack, forklift, scan gun, pallet wrapper).

• Cross train to execute repairs, refurbishments, and quality assurance procedures on IB battery testers.

• General warehousing duties (such as restocking shelves and housekeeping of assigned areas).

Qualifications:

• High School diploma preferred.

• Strong time management skills; able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Sense of urgency and well organized.

• Working knowledge of electronics preferred.

• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.

• Good communication skills.

Work Environment:

• Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.

• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.

• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 50+ lbs.

• May be exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.

• Prolonged use of personal computer & telephone.

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

• Regular Attendance Required
