Estimates job costs and creates quotes based on the part assembly requirements, customer requirements, and application experience.

Process customer RFQ's by providing quotations and pricing breakdowns to the Account Managers.
Take quote lineups from Account Managers or directly from the customer.
Work directly with Account Managers to determine machine layouts and concepts for quoting.
Obtain component pricing and quotes from vendors.
Provide pricing breakdowns for all quotes with detailed labor and purchased material content.
Some RFQ's will require a customer specific pricing breakdown.
Process any follow up information requested by Account Managers.
Maintain a pricing reference guide for purchased components.

Technical knowledge of assembly machinery processes and industry preferred techniques.
Specific knowledge of assembly machinery, as to powertrain assembly, axle and transmission assembly.
Experience with AutoCad and or Solidworks is preferable.
The ability to create simple assembly line layouts, and visual machine concepts.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.
Must have valid drivers license.
