Job Overview/Summary
The objective is to provide support to SC in supervising the implementation of a rooftop solar system. Specifically, the expert will contribute to the following areas:
- Review of Project Design and Installation Arrangements
- Project Management and Delivery
- Periodic Project Update and Communication
Major Responsibilities
System Design and Engineering:
- Assessing site suitability for solar installations, considering factors like solar irradiation, topography, and grid connection points.
- Designing the layout, configuration, and orientation of solar panels to maximize energy generation.
- Developing detailed electrical designs for grid integration, including inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
- Selecting appropriate PV modules, inverters, and other Balance of System (BOS) components.
Project Management and Implementation:
- Developing Scope of work and participating in the evaluation of bids for solar equipment.
- Overseeing the procurement, logistics, and installation of solar panels and associated equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with local utility interconnection requirements and safety standards.
- Conducting final system assessments, testing, and commissioning of the installed solar systems.
Maintenance and Support:
- Providing guidance and training to local staff on solar system maintenance and operation.
- Assessing and addressing any technical issues or deviations from the required specifications.
- Ensuring the long-term performance and reliability of the solar power systems.
Delivery table:
- First week: Review of Project Design and Installation Arrangements
- Second week: Developing Scope of work and participating in the evaluation of bids for solar equipment. Overseeing the procurement, logistics, and installation of solar panels and associated equipment.
- Third and Fourth weeks: Ensuring compliance with local utility interconnection requirements and safety standards. Conducting final system assessments, testing, and commissioning of the installed solar systems.
- Fifth and sixth week: Providing guidance and training to local staff on solar system maintenance and operation. Assessing and addressing any technical issues or deviations from the required specifications.
- Seventh week: Ensuring the long-term performance and reliability of the solar power systems and conclude any requests to close the business.
Time and delivery might change depending on business nature.
Payment terms: First Installment: 20% by the end of week 2, subject to completion of required deliverables. Second Installment: 30% by the end of week 4, subject to completion of required deliverables. Third Installment: 50% by the end of week 8, subject to completion of required deliverables and formal project closure.
