Industrial Electrician/Engineer

We are seeking an Industrial Electrician/Engineer to join our team working at our Mount Maunganui site and reporting to the Maintenance & Project Engineering Manager. This is a full-time permanent position that has key functional relationships with many facets of the business. You will work as part of a team which values teamwork and the ability to assist each other where required. The role requires an experienced 'hands on' individual who can work three or four 12 hour shifts per week, predominantly Monday to Friday, with every 4th week a night shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the timely, efficient, and effective execution for preventative maintenance, faultfinding, and breakdown repairs on a range of manufacturing equipment.
  • Supporting the Production team with setting up manufacturing equipment.
  • Uphold an innovative approach to the position, with a view to improve efficiency in the operation and performance in all areas.
  • Contribute to maintaining a zero LTI site.

Required Experience

  • Have a current New Zealand Electrical Practicing License.
  • Trade qualification (minimum).
  • Willingness to undertake shiftwork.
  • Knowledge and experience in servicing equipment including - mechanical components, bearings, pneumatics, etc.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • Minimum 2 years Food/FMCG manufacturing experience.
  • Maintenance database experience.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • An enthusiastic, flexible team player with a high level of personal integrity.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting analysis skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a team.
  • Have full working rights in New Zealand.
