As a First Line Support: Manufacturing Engineer at Project, you will be directly responsible for building, testing, qualifying and producing next generation spacecraft.
You will utilize innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology to solve difficult manufacturing and engineering problems on a daily basis, at both a systems and specialized level.
You will be the first line of support for all manner of technical challenges to the production team, using your expertise to rapidly respond to, triage, and solve product issues which slow down factory throughput.
You'll convert the first line troubleshooting into structural improvement projects to both improve the green-to-green recovery time for when line disturbances occur, as well as eliminate the generation of disturbances entirely through collaboration with other technical functions.
Key job responsibilities:
Normal day: 75% of time will be spent on-the production floor working with technician teams to solve all types of technical blockers, from test report reviews, defect material triage, ERP blockers, etc. 25% of time will be spent performing independent development work such as performing data analysis on disturbances, improving troubleshoot documentation, etc.
